Digipak Research

The digipak I have chosen to research is Collision Course by Jay-Z and Linkin Park.

I have chose to analyse this digipak because I believe it shows a lot of conventions of a rap music digipak due to the graffiti which is consistently used through the digipak in the background behind the font and a quarter of the CD.
Below you can see the analysis I have created for the music albums digipak involving the features of the pack, this includes the different font and sizes and the strong uses of graffiti within the digipak, you can also see that there is an additional disk within the digipak which includes different features of the album and performances of the artists together performing songs together from the album.

I would like to create something similar for the digipak of our music video, as it meets the codes and conventions of a music video which will be effective as this represents the artists within the album which makes it more appealing for the audience. 

Another digipak I have chosen to research is The Chronic by Dr. Dre. I have chosen to analyse this digipak as Dr. Dre is famous within the rap industry after being a member of the N.W.A rap group in the 1990's.
